This may be tongue in cheek. As a guy who's now in the situation of having to come up with excuses for why I'm marrying the GF anytime soon, I've lobbed this one out there, and I've heard others do the same. Since both of these two have been married before, I'm guessing it's an attempt to tweak the media and publid and set everyone a-twitter.
As for anyone caring, the blogger and we commenters clearly DO, right?
