Nappy-headed Ho's
I simply love the hypocrisy of the "black community" and other outraged sources regarding this whole Don Imus story.
Imus vs Nappy-Headed Ho's
My favorite quote:
Appearing on Sharpton's show, U.S. Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick, a Michigan Democrat and chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus, also raised the issue of chauvinism.
"I mean, who says 'hos' publicly?" she asked. "What is that? That is probably one of the most derogatory things any woman -- black, brown, yellow -- could even ever experience."
What about Snoop Dog, Ludacris, Too Short, Westside Connection, DJ Quik, 2Pac, Eazy-E, 50 Cent, etc? Perhaps Imus had been getting in touch with the black community by listening to the collective genius of the rap community and was simply trying to be folksy?

Couldn't agree more. And don't forget Jesse Jackson....remember the "hymie town" remark back in the '80s? Sharpton isn't clean either what with the whole Tawanna (sp?) Brawley situation.
What Imus said was deplorable (though he had every right to say it) and he deserves every consequence. But all the posturing is pretty ridiculous.
